Installation Notes:
Allow the stove to cool completely before servicing. Remove the door if required and carefully loosen the glass retainers. Remove the old glass and all remaining gasket material. Clean the glass channel thoroughly. Install a new tape gasket evenly around the perimeter of the replacement glass. Set the glass into the frame and reinstall retainers snugly without overtightening. Maintain approximately 1/8″ clearance around the glass to allow for thermal expansion during operation.
Important:
This panel is not tempered glass. Tempered glass is unsafe for wood stoves and may fail above 450F. Ceramic, pyro-ceramic, and neo-ceramic glass are engineered for high-heat environments and are rated to withstand temperatures up to 1,400F with minimal thermal expansion.
