The Heller eXcel Legend Rasp is engineered for efficient material removal with minimal effort. Designed to be 10% wider and thinner than a standard rasp, it offers superior balance and control, allowing for smoother, more efficient rasping. The increased width provides a larger working surface, making levelling and flattening the hoof wall easier and more consistent.
The rasp side features a concentrated pattern of over 650 mid-sized teeth, delivering strong cutting performance while helping to prevent clogging – especially effective in wet or humid weather conditions. Due to its wider surface area, maintaining a slightly steeper angle than with a regular rasp is recommended during use.
On the file side, Heller’s MultiGlide blades feature sharp edges and an overlapping cut design that leaves a smooth, glossy finish – often eliminating the need for additional finishing tools.
