This is a traditional chain bit with a 5-1/8″ mouthpiece. The shank is 7-1/2″ long, which allows for ample leverage. The chain mouthpiece encourages significant bend in the horse’s body. The chain is mild and lengthens reaction time between horse and rider.
Note
This bit will rust when exposed to moisture. This creates a sweet taste in the horses mouth and promotes salivation.
